In only the second year of SCHOOL FIRST, Scripps Ranch High School's football team falls short of its goal. But it couldn't get any closer.
The goal was clear. We wanted to reach a 3.60 team GPA. That is the magic number for a list of some of the best college and universities in the country, many of them smaller schools, to provide academic scholarships to play football at the next level.
We fell short, but you can't be disappointed with the significant improvement over the previous year.
Up from 3.17 in 2018, the team is definitely on the right track. SCHOOL FIRST is working.
